General Service and Cancellation Policies
Arrive Early:
We respect your valuable time by doing our very best to make sure that all of your services begin on schedule. Time for your appointment has been reserved especially for you. Sessions BEGIN and END at scheduled time. Returning clients, please arrive 5-10 minutes early; NEW CLIENTS: 10-15 Minutes, so that your session may begin on time. If you arrive late, your session may be shortened in order to accommodate others whose appointment follows yours. If you are more than 10 minutes late, we reserve the right to cancel your appointment without the privilege of rescheduling for future sessions.
New Clients:
Check your email and fill out your intake form the day before your session. Plan to arrive 10-15 minutes early to allow time for discussion, concerns and asking questions. Your session BEGINS and ENDS at scheduled time. If we get your session started early, it will end at the appropriate time in relation to the length of session you have paid for. Arrive early so we do not have to cut your session short.
LATE, CANCELLATION, NO-SHOW POLICY:
If you are running late, please call us and leave a message. If you will be more than 10 minutes late, Meadowbrook reserves the right to shorten your session or reschedule your appointment and charge a last minute cancellation/no-show fee. Call ASAP.
Please understand that we run a tight ship. Working at Meadowbrook is our livelihood, not a hobby. We are a small practice comprised of Independent Contractors. We have to pay for rent, utilities, our own insurance (health and business), product and everything else behind the scenes (laundering linens, computer software) and provide for our families. We do not get paid vacations or sick days. When a client does not show for an appointment, by the time we discover they are not coming, it is too late to call someone who is on the waiting list for that day. Please be respectful to our practitioners and other clients. If you need to cancel, please let us know ASAP.
Oftentimes, there are other clients on a waiting list and if we don't know you're not coming to your appointment, we cannot offer that slot to someone else in need of healing. Please keep us apprised of what's going on.
Should you need to cancel or reschedule, kindly give at least 24 hours notice when possible so that the therapist has the opportunity to contact the next person on the waiting list for that time slot. Please leave a voicemail stating your name and appointment time. Do not send messages to the reminder emails or text messages as they are NOT monitored by Meadowbrook.
Illness/Emergency:
If you are feeling under the weather, have an infection or running a fever, your appointment MUST BE RESCHEDULED. We understand that unforeseen emergencies and illness can arise. Please contact us ASAP. Meadowbrook reserves the right to refuse service to anyone with a contagious illness. Please give at least 24 hours notice when possible or call and leave a message as soon as you notice symptoms of being ill. It's better to reschedule than risk spreading illness or pay a No-Show fee.
A no-show without leaving a message or speaking with the therapist will automatically result in a fee and must be paid prior to receiving your next service.
Groupon Customers-IMPORTANT:
(We have not run a Groupon campaign in over 6 years, but there are still unredeemed vouchers that clients have not yet redeemed. While they never truly expire, the amount you paid for them is still valid and you would just pay the difference.)
Meadowbrook can only honor ONE GROUPON per customer. If you have purchased more than one, you may pass it along to a friend, family member, neighbor, etc. We have signed a written agreement with Groupon that states we are only allowed to accept ONE per customer. Please check your Fine Print on your Groupon. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact Groupon Customer Support at (877) 788-7858. If you are interested in receiving a discount on your services, please make sure you are subscribed to our emails. We send out specials and coupons via email.
Geauga County Sales Tax will be charged at the end of your Groupon session. Please be prepared to bring a little cash for tax. Use of credit card machine not available to pay tax or gratuity.
Inappropriate Behavior Is Absolutely Not Tolerated And Will Be Reported.
We are located 1500 Feet away from the Police Department.
Meadowbrook Natural Wellness Personnel reserves the right to refuse service for inappropriate behavior/conversation,sexual or nonsexual harassment, including any behavior/conversation that causes Meadowbrook staff/clients to feel uncomfortable in any way. Your session will be terminated immediately, payment for full session will still be charged, you will lose all privilege of receiving future sessions from us and the incident will be reported. No exceptions.
We have dedicated our lives and careers to promote wellness, healing, and making the world a better place, one session at a time. Please be kind, respectful and considerate to all.

Sales tax is not included and will be added to total at end of service. We gladly accept Credit/Debit and Cash. Personal Checks accepted on a per client basis based on previous appointment history.
A $50 fee will be assessed for NSF checks.
