A big thank you to all who came out last Saturday, January 17th for our class on Stress Relief. We learned a lot about ourselves that day, thanks to guest speaker, Rachel Strong. We learned some stress relieving techniques, such as the proper way to breathe deeply, how to take a look at what we eat to see if maybe our stress is due to something as simple as putting non-foods into our bodies, and we also learned some great ways to combat stress when it strikes up in situations. Now, I won't spoil all the secrets she shared, but I will say, that even I learned a few new tricks, and I've been practicing stress relief for about 8 years! (And did I mention, a lucky someone walked away $50 richer?? That's right, one special guest won a crisp $50 bill just for having the right idea on how to handle stress!)
